A spectacular performance against the Oilmen last week propelled Justin Schassburger to Northern League Pitcher of the week honors.  

Schassburger shut down the Oilmen on June 7th by pitching six no-hit innings. He also struck out a season-high 12 batters in the process.  

“(Justin) hit every spot that he needed.” Panthers head coach D’Vante Glenn said after the impressive performance last week.  

The award comes amidst an impressive summer for Scassburger, who is 3-0 on the year with a 3.05 ERA. In his three starts, he has been lights out with an ERA at a microscopic 1.15. He also leads the Northern League in strikeouts with 27.
