Aydin Wright / Catcher / Frontier Community College / Thornwood High School / Griffith, Indiana  

Wright is new to the Panthers for the 2022 season. Wright played for the White Sox ACE travel ball team. Prep Baseball Report has him listed at a 2.06-2.18 second pop time.  

Sean Conroy / Infielder / Allan Hancock College / Wheeler High School / Valparaiso, Indiana  

Conroy is in his first year with the Panthers. He just completed his freshman year at Allan Hancock College as a math & science major. He was the captain of the Wheeler High School tennis and baseball teams making academic all-conference in both sports. While at Wheeler, Conroy made first team all-conference in baseball after hitting .479 during his senior year.  

Hobbs Dune / Infielder / Uncommitted / Joliet Central High School / Elwood, Illinois  

Dune is in his first season with the Panthers. He graduated Joliet Central High School in the spring. He played for the Cangelosi Sparks travel ball team.  

Jimmy Gurgone / Infielder / Illinois Wesleyan / St Laurence High School / Mokena, Illinois  

Gurgone is in his first season with the Panthers. He just completed his first year at Illinois Wesleyan as an accounting major. During his freshman year, Gurgone was a letterwinner hitting .314 with three RBIs in 20 games (seven starts). During his time at St Laurence, Gurgone was the vice president of the National Honor Society, and he was CCL Blue All-Conference.  

Connor Janik / Infielder / Kankakee Community College / Peotone High School / Frankfort, Illinois  

Janik is in his first season with the Panthers. He played on the Cengelosi Sparks travel ball team. He has an 88.8 mph exit velocity listed on NCSA along with a 6.87 60-yard dash.  

David Nguyen / Infielder / Embry-Riddle High School / Northville High School / Ypsilanti, Michigan  

David Nguyen is new to the Panthers, and he recently committed to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. On his NCSA profile page, Nguyen says, “No matter what the result is, I come to the field with a happy attitude.” He played travel baseball at USA Prime in Michigan.  

Andrew Randazzo / Infielder / Lincoln Land Community College / Maine South High School / Park Ridge, Illinois  

Randazzo is new to the Panthers for 2022, and he is playing high school baseball for Maine South. Randazzo hit .432 during his junior year of high school as the Main South leadoff hitter. He played for the Prairie Gravel travel ball team.  

Julian Everett / Outfielder / Lewis University / Lincoln Way East High School / Frankfort, Illinois

Everett brings the most collegiate experience to the Panthers this season. A 2018 graduate of Lincoln Way East High school, Everett is a career .247 hitter in 99 games (85 starts) for Lewis University. His career best seasn at Lewis was in 2021 with a .307 average and 5 home runs.  

Nico Pena / Outfielder / Dillard University / George Washington High School / Hegewisch, Illinois  

Nico Pena is in his first season with the Panthers after a very successful season at Olive Harvey. He earned a scholarship heading into the spring semester, and became a vital part of the Olive Harvey lineup. In 26 games this season, Pena hit .378 with two home runs and 16 RBIs. He had a career high 5 RBIs on March 16 against Concordia.
