The Crestwood Panthers have released their 54-game schedule for the 2022 season. The Panthers will play 30 home games and 24 away games throughout the season.

Opening Day will be at home on May 23 against the Chicago American Giants at 5 p.m. All home games will be at Riverside Park in Hammond, Ind. (1245 River Dr, Hammond, IN).

Crestwood comes off its best season yet in 2021, when the team made its first playoff appearance. They came within one game of the championship series, falling to the Joliet Generals in a best-of-three series. The Generals and the Panthers will face off 11 times this season starting with a doubleheader in Joliet on June 8.

The Northern League has added a new team in the Lake County CornDogs this season, who the Panthers will play 11 times. The first game against Lake County is at home on May 25 at 5 p.m. The first time the Panthers will play at Lake County (Legacy Fields in Crown Point) will be on June 15 at 7 p.m.

Other highlights include the Northern League All-Star Game at Oil City Stadium in Whiting, Ind. on July 12 at 7:10 p.m. The postseason is currently scheduled for the second week of August with a single-elimination semifinal on Aug. 8, and a best-of-three championship series from Aug. 9-11.
